His recent work is concentrated in Bronx, NY where he splits his time between the Hunts Point Green Fleet Study and full time instructing at Bronx Community College.  The Hunts Point market area contain three large fleet types - perishable food delivery, passenger transport and a wide range of vocational trucks.  Art believes that the line between facility energy and vehicle energy has started to fade away.  He wishes to combine the advances of improved on-vehicle efficiency with the benefits of utilizing the electric grid to displace fossil fuels.  At ECO NY, the question Mr. Vatsky desires to address is “What are the smartest, safest ways to operate fleet vehicles with reduced cost/petroleum use/carbon footprint?”
