What We Do
Before we begin, there is a car with a gas engine spewing at least several tons a year of poisonous gas into the Earth's atmosphere! All the internal combustion engine and related parts are removed from the car.
Once the "shell" is clean, in goes the new electric motor. It's connected to the transmission; the motor and transmission coupling allows shifting without a clutch if you like. (Shifting is good fun and is strictly optional.)
A motor controller manages the communi-cation between battery pack and motor. We re-connect functions to the electric motor that had been connected to the gas engine.
The rechargable battery pack is now the source of power rather than foreign oil. A depleted battery will recover to 100% capacity on any home outlet overnight.
Looking Good! Your new electric car is ready to drive - it's clean, quiet, fast and strong. Just like a "regular" car, but without the gross environmental impact. And much, much cheaper to run and maintain.
